Question about Dropbox Synching

First time poster here who is starting to learn DevonThink. I setup a single database to sync and that is working fine. However I noticed that my database in the finder shows its about 650mb in size. The sync file under my Dropbox folder also shows about 650mb.

Does this mean that twice amount of disk space is required when synching?

Thanks in advance, Scott

With a Dropbox Sync, you shouldn’t have any Sync data in the Dropbox/Apps folder on your local machine.
In the Dropbox application’s Preferences > Account > Selective Sync, make sure you uncheck the Apps/DEVONthink Packet Sync folder.

Thanks that worked! I’m really liking DevonThink so far!

You’re welcome and we’re glad to hear it!
