Question about highlighting

Hello, community and support staff.

Whenever I underline a passage in a PDF file and add a comment, that passage disappears from annotations page and only the comments remains.

Is this intended ?

Do you mean in the Tools > Inspectors > Document > Annotations inspector?

A screenshot before/after underlining and adding the comment would be great, thanks.

The Content column shows either the underlined, strike through & highlighted text or the note of the annotation.
