Quick-switch styles?

I’m not sure if this is possible or not, but it would be quite useful if someone can explain it to me if it is possible.

Let’s say I’ve got 5 different text styles in my ‘favorite styles’

Currently, the fastest way I can switch between them is by using the Styles drop-down on the ruler.

I’m really needing a way to bind some sort of shortcut keys to switch styles much quicker. I need to be able to switch styles while typiing without needing to take the time to manipulate the mouse and menus.

Any ideas?

I don’t think that this is possible as the standard Cocoa/Mac OS X favorites are not part of the main menu. One possible workaround is to write scripts like the example scripts in the Scripts > Format menu of DT Pro. You could add a shortcut to them (either via the system-wide preferences or by adding the shortcut to the filename of the script)
