Reciepts scanned - automatically import to devonthink?

Just starting out with Devonthink and I have a small question about importing.
I’ve imported my bills and pdfs and tagged them accordingly.

My query is about the process with reciepts and possibly auto-importing from a chosen folder. I have a receipt scanner app on my phone which automatically exports the scanned receipts into a specific folder in finder.

Is there a way for Devonthink to keep an eye on this folder and import new files(scanned reciepts) ?

Or do i have to rememeber and manually add the new reciepts each time?

Have you tried searching the forum for “scanner folder import” or perhaps read the section on scanning in the manual?

Yes I seached for this topic and the posts which most closely matched my request are from many years ago and the steps shown are not applicable to the menus on DT.

Maybe try auto import folder instead.

Or look in the manual under automation.

I have the Global Inbox set up for auto-importing
