I had originally set DT to use the scripts in a folder on my Dropbox. However, I had to relocate my Dropbox recently to another drive, but DT still references the old location (old drive).

Our scripts directory should not be in Dropbox. They should be in the ~/Library/Application Scripts.

I am curious why you had them in there to begin with.
Because I had DEVONThink on two different computers (laptop & desktop) and I wanted to synchronize the scripts.
I may get struck down by lightning for suggesting this but… What would be the risk or potential consequence of placing smart rules in a Dropbox folder and then using a SymLink or Alias in the ~Library/Application Scripts folder?
If smart rules are synced to multiple computers but only one computer changes them at a time, what is the potential adverse effect that you are trying to avoid?
Actually I was using a symlink before. I just forgot where the original files were located. I’ve since figured it out. Thank you!
This won’t work, the file is only read once on startup and written on quit.
