Remove deleted database from Spotlight

I’ve deleted a database, but its contents are still showing up in Spotlight searches. How can I remove it from Spotlight?

Did you delete it in the Finder? Or in DEVONthink?

In Finder. It was a problematic database I had salvaged the contents from.

Deleting in DEVONthink is recommended as this removes obsolete additional files like Spotlight data. One possibility is to delete the folder ~/Library/Metadata/com.devon-technologies.think3, afterwards open your databases again. This should automatically rebuild the Spotlight index of these databases.
