Removing unwanted DropBox account for the correct one

Hi! I’ve been using Devonthink a while now and I love it.

But getting to my question, I’ll start by dispelling what this question is not: I’m not trying to have two Dropbox accounts. I know that isn’t possible. Rather, I apparently logged in to Dropbox using an old company account that I no longer have access to. I never finished setting up sync, but now I need to use a Dropbox account with the free storage I get at my new university. The problem is, every time I try to set up a fresh Dropbox it doesn’t ask me to sign in again. My old email shows up even if I remove the Dropbox option and try to set it up from scratch. Is there any way to solve this issue?
