Rename / Append two files with different names

With DTPO2 there was a script that enabled me to rename two different named files with a prefix. For instance, if I had two files (Email45 and Audio34) I could add a prefix to make them 02_Email45 and 02_Audio34 respectively. I can’t seem to work out how to do this in DTPO3, which (together with the Global Tags and Global Inboxes) is really annoying me. Perhaps it is something simple that eludes me. Does anyone have any advice?

Just use Tools > Batch Processing… and the “Change Name” action. By default a placeholder for the current name is inserted, therefore you only have to add a prefix/suffix.

Thanks very much. I had never used batch processing in all my years on DTPO so it was great to discover it.

It’s a new feature in DEVONthink 3.
