Replicant is removed when moving an item

Hello,

I have found, that an items replicant is removed when I move the item to another folder.
Workflow is as follows (everything in the same database):

  • Add a replicant to an item using right click (context) menu and select the folder in the same database.
  • Move the item to a different folder.

After that, the replicant ist gone. Not deleted (to recycle bin). Its simply gone.

Is this normal behaviour? Or is something wrong with my database?

So you replicate to another group in the same database via the contextual menu.

  • Move the item to a different folder.

Then you move the original item to another group. And is that group in the same database?

Yes. Both steps are done in the same database. Mostly I do the replicate/move from the inbox group (Eingang in german) in that database.

Before I replicate and move most items are moved to the database inbox by a rule from the DT global inbox folder that is accessible from the finder in macOS.

During the replicate and move a second database is opened in DT. But is never a part of replicate or move action.

Hold the Option key and choose Help > Report bug to start a support ticket.

Tried that. But when selecting “Report Bug” from the Menu nothing happened.

If I select “Contact” (Help without option key) it opens a new mail window with all information about my installation.

What should happen, when “Report Bug” is selected?
