Replicants disappear when Move To is used in See Also screen

Can anyone tell me what the reason is for the disappearance of replicants when I use the Move To button in the See Also screen? Is there any way to change this behavior?

If not currently, would it be possible to add an option to, say, CTRL-click to leave existing replicants behind?

Replicants are created in the selected destination group(s) replacing the current instances. A future build will probably add an “Add To” option.
