restore a database just from a dropbox sync

Hi,
i just configured a sync to dropbox for one of my databases. what happens, if i loose all of my files (notebook + external harddrives gets stolen) and the only backups left is the dropbox sync? Is it possible on a fresh machine, to install dropbox and devonthink and then do a restore from these syncs, so i have again a working database?

PS: the database i am talking about, currenty lays locally inside a encrypted sparsebundle (OSX) and a password within the database-settings is set.

Yes, databases can be imported from sync stores via Preferences > Sync > Import Database… However, usage of sync stores as backups is not recommended, this should only be a last resort.
