RSS feed troubleshooting

Hello,

I generated an RSS feed from the local library that should update daily. It seems to open in the web browser but it doesn’t generate a feed in DevonThink.

There’s a login required for this. Have you tried logging into the library account in DEVONthink?

Yes, I had wondered if there was a cookie relationship between the browser and feed. I logged into the site on devonthink but the feed still isn’t working.

There isn’t necessarily, but it had to be asked. You could try a URL like…

http://username:password@0-go.galegroup.com.catalog.sdcl.org/ps/i.do?p=ITOF&qt=MC~0BGJ&sw=w&searchType=AdvancedSearchForm&ty=as&u=san28542&v=2.1&it=rss&digest=b3497cca08a08a17df21b13d2ed10171… obviously filling in your username and password.

Unfortunately no, that doesn’t seem to work either. I contacted the library tech help to see if there’s something they can do. Id be grateful for any further ideas.
