RSS summary notifications

I have “Show chat summary in notification centre” enabled, and it works great.

My one issue though is that each notification “wastes” one line by saying something like “1 article added”. I would rather see one more line of the summary.

I would prefer to have a separate notification for each new article and never see the article count (because it would always be one).

I assume the notification would only combine articles from the same feed, which rarely happens if you update every 15 minutes. So I guess an alternative would be to omit the line when it is a single article, and only show it if the summary covers 2 or more articles (but then having an extra line of summary would be even more valuable).

Depending on the feed multiple articles might be summarized at once. But in case of only one article it could be indeed avoided.

There’s a default smart rule for this case, you just need to change the trigger to On News. Optionally you could modify the actions & conditions too, e.g. you could remove Chat - Continue if… action to get summaries for all news:
