Just a quick note - don’t install the current Safari 1.3 preview release (should be only available for developers but… 
). This preview does not produce correct RTF(D) contents, e.g. using “Services > TextEdit > New window containing selection” results in an error message and DEVONthink on the other hand displays the pure RTF code after taking a rich note.
