Safari clip keyboard shortcut fails; Can't empty trash

Two issues:

Lion 10.7.1 and latest Safari/extension.

Extension works fine when I click on the title bar button. But the keyboard shortcut doesn’t work. I have tried changing this shortcut, without success.

Also-I have a single .xls file I cannot delete from the Trash. Everything else deletes, just not this one file.

Is that file locked? If so, it can’t be deleted from the Trash.

To check, open the file’s Info panel and if ‘Lock’ is checked, uncheck it.

Solution to the other problem: I uninstalled the extension, then re-installed the same extension from the DTPO ‘Install Add-ons…’
