Safari Web Clipper

The Help in DT 3.5.2 says: “The Clip to DEVONthink for Safari extension is installed by DEVONthink by default.” It wasn’t installed in my Safari and I can’t find it or how to install it.

Could someone tell me where I can find and install it?

Thanks,
Martin

I guess I found my answer, at least in part. The Share button in Safari has the choice Add to DEVONthink 3 and that works for putting the web page I’m looking at into DT3. It does not see to work for putting a selection from the page into DT3. Is there a way to do that?

Thanks,
Martin

I think you have to activate it, like other extensions,

That is correct. It must be enabled in Safari’s Preferences > Extensions.

Clipping a selection could be done with the services, accessible in Safari > Services.

You could also try setting a hot key for Copy Selection in DEVONthink’s Preferences > Sorter.

Thank you. I was looking in the wrong place – Safari-> Extensions rather than Safari->Preferences->Extensions.

You’re welcome.
