Hi – I just upgraded to DT3, and when I try to save a document to the Inbox in my Mac finder, it doesn’t show up in my new global inbox – but if I open my old DTPO program, the saved file is sitting there in its inbox. How can I make the Mac finder save to my new version of DT3? (Or do I need to get rid of the old DTPO version, or take some official steps to transfer from one to the other? I have opened all my databases in the new version of DT and they seem to be working fine…)
You shouldn’t have both DEVONthink 2 and 3 installed on the same account, on the same machine.
At a minimum, delete the 2.x application from the /Applications directory and reboot the machine.
You might also have to remove the old Inbox entry in the Finder’s sidebar, then use DEVONthink 3 > Install Add-Ons…
