hi, i was experimenting what the best approach is for making Searchable PDFs (based on Dutch as primary language) with ScanSnap vs DevOn. I’ve made a profile in ScanSnap where I switched off the option ‘Make searchable PDFs’ in ScanSnap, see here:
I switched that setting on in DevOn. After I scan a file, and select the location where to store it in DevOn, it keeps hanging in Devon at the part ‘Saving PDF document’. See here:
When I click on the ‘x’ on the right side, the PDF files showes up, and I can search for ‘dutch’ terms and find matches within this document. Why does it not finish the process properly?
When I switch of the setting in DevOn to create Searchable PDFs, the PDF document is immediately there after scanning via ScanSnap.
