Scanning multiple-page documents

Per the tip in the latest newsletter, I set up DT PE to work with my Canon LIDE30 scanner. This works great for scanning single pages into DT.

Is there a way to let DT know that I’m scanning 30 pages that should be grouped together? Or in general, does anyone have recommendations for scanning documents that are longer than 1 page long so that the relevant pages are kept together in 1 file in the correct order?

Open the CanoScan application, click the button of the “set” you want to use, e.g. “File”. In the appearing window, choose “PDF” as file type. Then, click the button “PDF settings”. Check “Multiscan PDF”. That’s it. A multi-scan PDF is a PDF with more than one page (at least, the Japanese at Canon belives that )
