Scanning not into the database but into the file system

My setup is a Fujitsu Scansnap S1300 running the Scansnap Manager 6.3L70 with DTPO 2.11.3. The preference of Scansnap Manager is set to handover scanned data to DTPO where it will be OCR’ed and saved in the database. Then I move the data manually into the macOS file system.

I would like to change this procedure in order to scan the OCR’ed data directly into the macOS file system.

Will that work, and, if so, how it has to be set up?

That is not possible without AppleScripting in DEVONthink 2.x.

It is possible in DEVONthink 3, via an indexed group or smart rules.

Oh! This are great news - for you. :wink: Probably this could become the key argument therefore I could upgrade to DTPO3.
