Scanning tips and recommendations

First, I hope this is the appropriate forum for this post.

Second, I am about to scan several hundred pages and the pdfs will eventually go into DT Pro. Would some kind soul

  1. recommend low cost simple scanning software or should I just get by with my Epson Scanning software (it does not seem to put together multiple pages in one pdf document).

  2. Any general tips on scanning?

  3. There is no builtin scanner for DT Pro, right? Why is this?
