Script tab google search

In this recent blog post capture-web-content Jim refers to a script that I don’t have and I don’t know how to get it or create it, it’s a shame because articles like this one are super useful to someone like me with very little expert knowledge of DEVONthink and who would like to be able to get more from it. If Jim or anyone can shed more light on this it would be appreciated. Thanks

As I read it, @bluefrog said to use the Script menu, Tabs, Open Google…

Select Scripts menu > Tabs > Open Google

What are you missing?

@chrillek is correct on this.

Open Google Search is missing.

Perhaps you have to install additional scripts? See “DEVONthink 3/Install additional modules/Scripts
In any case, the script is available here.

I’m sorry, I missed that… Where is the script available please?
As far as I can tell there’s nothing left for me to install.

What version of macOS and DEVONthink are you running?

Mac: 12.6.8
DEVONthink: 3.8.7

You are several versions behind on DT and macOS. The current DT version is 3.9.2.
Perhaps upgrading might be a good idea.

That’s it!
Thank you both for taking time to help, i’m not sure why i needed to manually update but very pleased that it’s working.

Glad to hear it and yes, you should stay current with the operating system and our point releases.
