Search all fields with boolean 'NOT'?

Hello,
I’m new!

When I search for ```

a NOT b

[cl.ly/image/2p3C1N0v1n3N](http://cl.ly/image/2p3C1N0v1n3N)
[cl.ly/image/0W310n412634](http://cl.ly/image/0W310n412634)

but when I search 'All' fields, it doesn't seem to work as expected:
[cl.ly/image/0K2A1h1Q2s1D](http://cl.ly/image/0K2A1h1Q2s1D) - those results should be excluded.

Am I doing something wrong?

I expect that if you examine the search results for the All example, you will find one or more fields in each in which “grief” was found, but not “all”.

Ahh… I see. My mind was thinking it would combine all fields and search them together. It makes sense that it would work that way if it tests each field individually. In this case it was the URL that had ‘grief’ and not ‘all’.
