?search= URL works reliably :)

Hi, is searching via ?search= URL restricted in any way? I can’t for the life of me figure out why it sometimes works and sometimes fails.

First I thought it doesn’t search the first and last paragraph of e.g. a text record, however that’s not the case as it does find some strings but others not. But those other strings are found if they are not in the first or last paragraph.

Unfortunately I deleted all test records and URLs yesterday, however I could post examples if needed.

It’s not limited in any way, the URL has to be only valid (e.g. percent escaped). Examples would be really great, thanks!

Nevermind - in a script I replaced linefeeds with spaces before encoding the text. I was under the wrong assumption that DEVONthink handles them equally as that’s the case in normal searches. Thanks!
