This may be a silly question, but I’m just trying out DTTG and want to make sure that I have things right.
Essentially, what I wanted to be able to do was search the content of a large database on my Mac from my iPhone. However, because of storage space, I have set my sync not to download files.
What I’m finding though is that I can’t perform the searches that I want i.e. I can search through the database on my Mac for particular keyword and get a load of results, but when I search through them on my phone nothing comes up.
So, the question is - am I right in thinking that I have to have everything downloaded to particular device to be able to search through the contents of PDFs?
