I work almost exclusively in notes view. It would save me a lot of time if I could optionally set DT to switch mouse focus to the notes window whenever I select a document in the hierarchical list.
What I want to do is execute sequences such as: select document, select all text, begin typing new text. Currently, after selecting the document, you have to manually click in the text window before you can begin to operate on the text.
I know that I could double-click on the document to open a new window - but then I’d have to close it when I’m done, which creates the same number of extra steps.
