[Sequoia] Cannot change ratings in the Info Inspector

Hi there,

I’m aware DEVONthink hasn’t released new updates that officially support macOS Sequoia yet. That said, Sequoia is already out of beta and if I run into what I believe is a DT bug, I think I should make sure Development is aware of it.

Now, the bug itself:

  • I’m running DT 3.9.7 on macOS Sequoia 15.0 (24A335). When I try to change a record’s rating in its Info Inspector by clicking on any of the five stars, the rating doesn’t change at all. I tried on an arbitrary selection of records and groups in my databases, and it affected all of them.

  • My only troubleshooting attempt was quitting and re-launching DT, which didn’t fix the issue.

  • Ratings can still be changed via other methods, e.g., by using the Rating menu in the contextual menu or the Data menu.

Update: I just tested it in the Tools > Filter > Info pane in the left sidebar, and the five-star UI there was unresponsive to my clicking as well.

Thank you for the bug report! We’re aware of this issue and the next maintenance release will fix it.

Probably related: It is also currently not possible to filter based on ratings.
