Set custom metadata on import

I have the Custom Metadata field PubDate:

How can I populate it on document import into DEVONthink?

• Is there a settable named xattr field of the documnet file which on import is converted to a named metadata field?
• Or could I, on import, trigger a rule which copies the Last Modified date to the custom field pubDate?

I use an on import rule that triggers an AppleScript

This is really cool – particularly the “Date Added in this Hour” is a good safety guard I would not have thought of!
