Is there a way (or a script) that will allow me to change the “New Notes” default folder (which is normally set in Prefs>Importing) to the currently selected group or a group of my choosing via Quicksilver. I find it a pain to constantly change that if i want to fire off a few notes into a project folder I have created. Any help is much appreciated.

Related but different:
If I have DTPO(beta) open to a particular category, feeding documents into my ScanSnap winds up with PDFs in that category. That’s usually not what I want.
I have an “Incoming!” category set up in “Preferences > Import > New Notes”… why isn’t that honored?

Because these are not considered “new notes” but imported documents. Thus the functionality mimicks that behaviour.
