Several files are not found by Easyfind

I’ve found Easyfind does not find text in some files, for example, in MS Word doc files, nor in Apple Textedit RTFD (RTF with attachements) files. Is this a known restriction, or can I persuade Easyfind search in such files?

EasyFind doesn’t support proprietary file formats, only plain text/markup files (like sources, scripts, HTML/XML). It might or might not work in certain cases by adding the file extension to the settings.

Thanks. I hadn’t noticed the settings button! Clicking on ‘search all files’ seems to get the missing files. Slow of course, but good when desperate!
