In macOS > Extensions > Sharing > I have enabled “Add to DEVONthink 3”
When I try to send text using the macOS share sheet to DT as format “rich text” it always gets created as an rtf file (good) but with font Helvetica, Regular, 12 (bad).
It doesn’t respect the font settings I have in DT.
Settings … > Editing > Rich Text & Note Font
When I create a new RTF directly in DT (Right click > New > Rich Text) it works properly and uses the non-default customized font and font size settings I have configured.
Is there a different setting somewhere else that I need to change, or is this a bug?
I tried with with source document in Drafts and macOS Notes, didn’t work in either of them so I don’t think it is a source application issue?
I just tried same … I created a new macOS “Note” document, formatted it with one of those obscure fonts (Luminari), then hit the share icon, picked “send a copy” to DEVONthink 3, picked “rich text” to “inbox”. Result was a new rtf file in inbox with fonts as specified in the Editor setup (same screen shot as you provide here). So not seeing what you see.
I’m on macOS 13.6.7 (Ventura) and DEVONthink 3.9.6.
You don’t say what version of Sonoma you have. Per a quick check on Apple’s support site I see the newest is 14.4.1. You have this one?
