In thinking about how to make better use of AI in DEVONthink, I’m wondering how small I can make a note and still have that note be useful for AI searches and queries. If a note is just a single sentence, perhaps with a link to a web document, can that note still be found by DEVONthink’s native AI or its integration with external AI services?
It’s not excluded of course but whether it’s used or found depends on the search query (or chat prompt). DEVONthink’s internal AI works best with shorter documents with hundreds up to thousands of words. E.g. storing each chapter of a book is better than a huge PDF with thousands of pages.
But in this case I would simply use a bookmark and add the short note as a comment.
