This is only happening since the upgrade from 3 to 4 a few days ago. Happens with reminders with and without link or attachment.
- DEVONthink 4.02 Sonoma Apple Mail 16.0
- DEVONthink 3 app deleted (deleted app only)
- No mail extensions installed
- Library: 2 apple mail bundles installed - see below (Houdah, Tembo)
- No DEVONthink mail or Mail/Bundle installed plugin or extension installed
- I checked that DEVONthink has full disk access in Sonoma → Settings
thank you very much
You need to enter a recipient, see text field below Alarm

I apologize for the mistake.
Incredibly, I spent the day testing and despite spending time testing, I don’t understand why despite entering the email, I hear the reminder DEVONthink sound but the reminders still end up in drafts, not in my inbox.
What I tried: quit →restart apple mail and DEVONthink, clear all caches (Clean My Mac) and restart my Mac
thank you
What do you have the reminder attached to?

would you have a follow-up? It’s a major pain in the neck. Thank you very much
We can’t reproduce the issue so far.
Is Mail already running or being launched by the alarm?

yes. I think that I found the problem. Working on it.
when a reminder is created, where is the FROM email configured ? (not the destination email)
It’s not configured. It uses the currently active account. So if you have two email accounts, whatever one is active in Mail will be used.

I found the problem which I have had for the past few weeks, but seems to be widespread.
It is related to a mega irritating gmail bug: When you send yourself an email, it skips the inbox and goes directly to “sent” mailbox. It is a known issue, widely discussed in forums.
I tried everything imaginable like creating filters in apple mail, gmail, etc
I can’t receive DEVONthink reminders in my inbox unless I can modify the FROM: email address.
Why are you emailing a link to yourself? Just wondering the use case.

1- a reminder is remind myself
2- the gmail bug looks at “from”, not “to”
Why not use Scripts menu > Reminders > Add as To Do to Reminders?
too complicated. thank you
