I just watched an early demo of Siri AI, and it looks very initeresting. Will our DT databases be accessible to the Siri AI process, similar to our Mail, Calendar, Reminders, etc., if we choose?
(For those of us, who do not live in the EU; we probably won’t see Siri AI in the foreseeable future because of the DMA…)
The “interesting” demos were clearly not live. There is much unknown and we are not going to commit to anything before it has been properly investigated and vetted, so the answer is… maybe.
On the Mac this restriction can be easily bypassed, I already tested Siri AI ![]()
Could you please share…? I’m super interested. Really want to try the iPhone mirroring (assuming the bypass also enables that as well)
I doubt that Apple looks too fondly on anyone in their developer program publicly explaining how to circumvent their safeguards. A simple internet search will tell you what I want.
I bypassed it as well, and the result is no more precise than, for example, passing the files to Gemini in the application or in the browser. Searching for an invoice in Mail, it found the one from the previous year but not the current one. From Google in the navigator, integrated Gemini found al of them.
Don’t expect any revolution. Also, it “tastes” like Gemini to me, which is my main AI.
