Slow context menu in edit mode on ipad

Hi
I am facing a strange issue on an ipad when i try to edit a document.
When i try to mark a word in order to format it in bold it takes 10-20 seconds until the word is marked and the context menu appears.

I am using IOS 13.2.3 and latest version of the App.

What kind of document? PDF?

It happens with rtf-text documents

The RTF editor that we use in DEVONthink To Go 2.x is outdated and will be replaced.
