was reading a post on another topic that mentioned DevonThink’s “Smart Groups”. I know about groups, but smart groups? Am I missing something?
Would love the ability to generate something akin to Smart Folders that included database entries based on specified criteria.
Select DT Pro’s Scripts > Smart Group. (Not available in DT Personal.)
Notice the range of options, including one that will display replicates of content added in the past week.
Other options allow one to enter a query term. Items in the database that match the query are replicated to the smart group.
Ah, perfect. I’ve never gone into the scripts menu as I’m largely ignorant about scripts unless specifically directed. I’m going to explore that and will likely add a separate topic later about how folks are using the different script features.
