Smart rules using custom metadata

Hello Team DevonTech,

I am using the custom metadata field Language for my documents. As you can see in the screenshot, I am able to apply and sort files by language (in this case - English & Vietnamese).

However, if I want to create a smart group looking at this metadata field, it will not work.

For example, I create a group to see all English documents. I start by selecting the Custom meta Language on bottom.

I complete my smart group, and go to save:

Nothing shows up, and when I reopen the saved search, the Language classifier is gone.

Please look into this bug.

Thanks for the bug report, beta 4 will fix this.

On the same note, I noticed that if I create a custom MD field with the type “Set” and then open my DB in another computer, it will show as “Single-line Text”.

Also, I can’t seem to find a way to permanently delete some custom md fields, but I guess this has been reported already.

Only the custom metadata of each item is currently synchronized, the setup (see Preferences > Sync) isn’t so far. Updating the definition on the second computer fixes this.
