Smart Templates (.templatescript) don't recognized by DTPO?

I played around with smart templates this afternoon. It seems that DTPO 2.0.2 doesn’t recognize template scripts with the extension “.templatescript”. It only seems to recognize template script packages “.templatescriptd”.

Has anyone created an “.templatescript” Smart Template successfully? Any ideas what might be wrong with my system (Mac OS X 10.6.3).

Over here (on 10.6.3) .templatescript works as expected. Does you script compile correctly?

(FWIW, the Data > New from Template menu does not refresh until you quit and restart DT. )

Thank you very much for your answer. I noticed that for some reason the extension “.templatescript” was linked to Apple Script Editor on my system. Mapping this file extension to DTPO solved my problem. Smart templates using ". templatescript " does now work…
