Spotlight not finding DTP-Files regardless Spotlight Index

I usually use the Alfred Workflow [DEVONthink Portal](https://www.alfredforum.com/topic/19935-devonthink-portal/), but I would like to be able to find individual documents with a quick search without triggering a complex DTP search.

Although I have enabled Spotlight Indexing for my DEVONthink databases, files in my databases do not appear in the search results when I search for them (both in Spotlight and Alfred and I also have specified DT-Files in Alfred to include in search results). I have already rebuilt the index several times and also deleted all files/folders in ~/Library/Metadata/com.devon-technologies.think/ and rebuilt the index. I have not specified any exceptions in the Spotlight settings that would exclude a search. What am I doing wrong?

Which version of macOS and of DEVONthink do you use? Are the files in your databases indexed or imported?

Latest Sequoia. All files are imported. I now reset the Spotlight index and hope that somehow this might be the issue.

Ok, rebuilding Spotlight index seemed to work which rules out an error from DT’s and even my side (phew). Also now everything is shown in Alfred. I added Search Scope of ~/Library/Metadata/com.devon-technologies.think/ to Alfred and then it worked there as well (typical user error).
