Is there a simple way to point the cursor to the end of the file when an item is opened in a new tab in DT3?
Not that I know of. And there are v also documents where a cursor is not available, eg PDFs
I am just thinking of RTF files. When I open an annotation, I want the cursor to be below the template items like the date and document links.
Mac keyboard shortcuts - Apple Support :
- Fn–Right Arrow: End: Scroll to the end of a document.
Doesn’t that work?

Sorry, I should have been more specific. I want to do this in an applescript, so that when I use Open tab to create a new window, the cursor is also at the end of the file.
System Events can be used to send key strokes, I think.
