To send someone a document by email, I often started from within DT 3 by right-clicking the file and choose “send by email”, then Apple Mail opened up with a blank mail an the file attached. For some time now, this doesn’t work anymore. Any idea what happened? (latest DT3, latest MacOS)
Terminate and restart DT. Does that help?
Just tried this successfully, most likely a temporary scripting issue on Sonoma again. Restarting the app or rebooting the computer fixes this usually.

Another possibility is to simply drag the file to Mail’s Dock icon, this should also create a new mail and attach the file but without setting the subject.
