Is there any way to tell DEVONthink to stop trying to analyze some file types? I do a lot of FileMaker development. I recently created a new DT database and indexed my work folders—which have lots of regular files but also lots of FileMaker database files. Now, every morning I have a log popping up with a long list of files that are of unknown type. I would really like to tell DT to not bother trying to analyze .fmp12 files and .graffle files, etc. Is there any way to do that?
No. Whatever is in the folders you’re indexing will be included. And in this case, the messages are harmless.
