Suggestion - AI Transcripts

More and more I use Devonthink 4 or DTTG as my main chat interface to gemini and I routinely save chat transcripts to the global inbox as a markdown document, perhaps because I’m packrat. Each time I have to visit the new document, rename it, tag it (at the minimum with “AI generated”) and eventually move it to a permanent location in the database. It would be nice to have some automatic designation of AI generated transcripts and documents, perhaps a different icon, filetype, tag or other attribute that could be used to distinguish these and could be used in rules and smart views.

Also, for those who do not want to save to the global inbox, a setting specifying the default location for these transcripts would be appreciated.

Have you looked at creating a smart rule for tagging and naming. I’ve not looked but that would be the nicest way to do it most likely.

Yes, that’s doable. I think an attribute of some kind to designate AI generated responses would be helpful for other things as well, for instance excluding those from various actions. Thanks for the suggestion
