Suggestion: when share → mail a RTF(D) item, have 2 options 1- as attachment 2- title in mail subject and contents in mail body

When I share → mail RTF(D) files as emails I usually simply want to put the DevonThink item title in mail subject and contents in mail body.
I suggestion 2 share → email options for RTD(D) files
1- as attachment
2- title in mail subject and contents in mail body
thank you.

  • What are you currently seeing?
  • Are you actually using the share menu?
    • If so, have you tried Data > Send by Email?

thank you. With both (file → share and data → send by email) , I end up with the rtf(d) as an attachment, and not pasted into the body.

Why do you want it pasted into the document?
Attachments are the norm.

I often (95% of the time) write memos in DevonThink as RTF(D)→ send by email with the title in the subject and the content in the body, as opposed to sending as attachment.
I can be done by keyboard maestro, but would obviously be simpler via a DevonThink menu command.
thank you for your reply

Are you using RTF(D) because you’re including images and formatting?

yes there are often images
