Summarize annotations template

Hi!

Where can I find the template for “Summarize Annotations” (as Markdown)? I would like to make some small changes.

Thanks.

There’s no such template and therefore this can’t be customized (apart from the option in Settings > Files > Markdown)

Ok. Let me be specific about the problem.

After annotating a .pdf and selecting the option to create a summary, the title presented is the following:

Mastering the three dimensions of growth.pdf Summary (Annotations

I would prefer that it be:

Mastering the three dimensions of growth - Annotations

So for every annotation file I have to manually remove the single parenthesis and everything back to the period, plus add a dash.

I would like to have the name of all the summaries look alike.

While I have your attention, a congratulations to you and your team for such awesome set of tools, some of which are subtle but increase productivity to superpower level. The ability to quickly annotate many documents (including on my iPad) and then have a summary with backlinks is amazing. Plus everything else that DT does. Thanks!

And thank you for recognizing this detail  It’s akin to working out. You won’t necessarily see gains daily, but over time you realize, “Wow… things are actually better!”

You could use a smart rule triggered on creation that uses the new Find & Replace action:

P.S: The name should actually end with (Annotations), the next release will fix this typo.
