Sync/Download only small files in DTTG

Dear developers,
it would be great to set a certain file size for synchronisation. For example I have databases with PDFs and videofiles, but I would like to have all my PDFs offline to search inside on the go, but the videofiles should only load when I need them to save space on my phone…

Are the files located in different groups? Then you could enable the setting to download contents automatically for those groups containing the PDF documents.

Thanks for your response! But I gather very different types of media and documents in different groups together and I would like to be able to define a certain file size until it is automatically downloaded or synchronized.

This is not possible in DEVONthink To Go.

In DEVONthink on the Mac, this can be accomplished via a smart rule. Here is an example…

Note this replicates any PDF or any file smaller than 10MB.

In DEVONthink To Go you can set the Download Files option for the container group - here I used _Auto-Download - and the replicated files will be always downloaded in their individual groups.
