DTP Sync v2.51 is up and running, which is great. But I was wondering about “Mobile Sync”. Can any of you super-users out there explain how you use both? If already using the new Sync across two or more Macs (for matching databases), then how do you utilise “Mobile Sync” in the latest versions of DTPO?
Mobile Sync is for synchronizing the Global Inbox, and portions of one or more desktop or laptop databases, with iOS devices. Desktop Sync (i.e., Preferences > Sync) is for synchronizing databases across two or more machines – as you described.
