Synchronization and indexed files

Hi all,

I am using DT in a customer project and have setup a database specific to this project. Some files in the project (created by the customer) are indexed only and some files created by myself are kept in the database itself.

When I am synchronizing the database with my mac in my office, I want to exclude the index files from synchronization because of data security agreements.

Is this possible? Or what is best way from your point of view ?

This is not yet possible. One possibility is to add the indexed files to a separate database that isn’t synchronized.

Because I want to execute my queries against both databases, I have to use extended search panel. Correct ? Any alternatives / other tools to do this ?

Correct. Tools > Search allows you to search all open databases.
