Synchronized scrolling for side-by-side files (markdown)

I’m probably misremembering, but it seems that markdown files in side-by-side view (source left, preview right) used to scroll synchronously. In 3.8.1 that’s not the case. Even if I misremember the past behavior, I would like to get this working. It’s not. helpful to be previewing the top of a document when the edit pane is focused on the bottom.

Nope, it never did. It’s on our list of potential enhancements, just like typewriter / focus mode. There is always something to consider.

I would like to “upvote” this as something to please implement. Synchronized scrolling is so important when you are keeping track of your formatting/syntax while you type. Focus mode is nice too, but synced scrolling…I’d owe people favors for that one.
