I have DT3 on two laptops. I haven’t used it on one of them for a long time. I’d like to sync them so that I have the same data on both of them. Where do I begin to do this? Thanks.

Sync settings are set in Devonthink > Preferences > Sync
I have iCloud sync enabled on both devices; it syncs Mac <> store <> Mac
Bonjour is another option; it syncs Mac <> Mac

Before you set that all up: have the two devices previously been synced? Is there a sync store set up (e.g. on iCloud, Dropbox or wherever)?

No, they’ve never been synced before, so no sync store. That makes me think, though, of another question. If there’s a sync store (I have to look up what that is 
) does that mean that my data is in the cloud, too? The main reason I came back to DT was because having my data on other servers (Evernote) was beginning to make me nervous. Thanks for the response.
